On 31 March 2016, Engagement Hub launched onto the market with a simple but bold ambition: to build the software that didn’t yet exist — a truly all-in-one platform for community engagement and stakeholder management. Ten years later, we’re proud to say we’re still here, still independent, still owned and hosted right here in Sydney, Australia, and still as passionate about what we do as the day we started.
What began out of genuine frustration — the recognition that no existing software truly did it all — has grown into a platform with over 200 tools, a comprehensive built-in SRM, advanced reporting, Microsoft integrations, sentiment analysis, API capabilities and so much more. The evolution has been remarkable, but what we’re most proud of is how that growth has happened: month by month, update by update, shaped almost entirely by the people who use the software every day.
Some of those people have been with us from the very beginning. Our first two clients — Ausgrid and the City of Prospect — came on board in May 2016 and are still with us today. That says everything. We’ve never taken our clients for granted. Every person who uses Engagement Hub gets a real team of engagement experts behind them — people who know the software, have worked in community & stakeholder engagement, and genuinely care about outcomes. That’s not a marketing line; it’s how we’re built.
Our team, spread across Australia and New Zealand, has grown alongside the software, and the same spirit that drove us in 2016 drives us now. We’ve quietly achieved a great deal over the past decade — delivering over 5 million engagements, earning five-star reviews and multiple industry awards & accreditations, and earning the trust of government, corporates and not-for-profits across the region.
What’s next for Engagement Hub?
As for what comes next — more of the same, in the best possible way. More listening. More building. More showing up for our clients. We have exciting developments in the pipeline and a development roadmap shaped, as always, by the people we serve. We have no plans to stand still, and no plans to be anything other than exactly what we are: an independent, Australian-owned platform that puts engagement — and the people behind it — first.
Here’s to the next ten years!
