This month Engagement Hub turns 7 and we’re celebrating not only a successful 7 years – we’re also looking at how far the software has come since it was launched in 2016 and why it’s become so popular.

Created by Stakeholder Engagement experts, the software was founded in the need for one comprehensive software, rather than integrating multiple platforms or using several spreadsheets. Still today, we are the only platform to include a comprehensive Stakeholder Management System (SRM) as standard.

We believe in the power of robust data so combining our SRM with our unmatched reporting capabilities allows our clients to manage offline and online engagement together, get more insights into their stakeholders and communities, streamline tasks and be more productive.

Developments released each month

Another factor that sets us apart is our continual and rapid deployment of new features, tools and updates.

Each month we update our clients on our developments that month with a list of new and updated features. Our 3-year rolling development roadmap is continually reviewed and re-prioritised based on client needs and suggestions.

Client productivity is top of mind

Our specialised team have worked across all levels of government, not-for-profit and private organisations. We understand the stresses and strains and that time is the greatest commodity. This is why our software updates include many productivity improvements. For example:

  • The development of the Workflow Tasks feature to enable Administrators to assign and monitor tasks associated with running the platform
  • We’ve changed the Project Dashboard so that all widgets, (except the essential Project Overview and Control Tool), are initially disabled. It’s a simple change that saves time when starting a new project, as it allows you only to turn on the widgets you wish to use and not close the widgets you aren’t using
  • By enabling the pop-up confirmation box, we’ve increased the speed of tagging feedback by 100%
  • A significant productivity improvement has been made to how you can import images. Since November 2022, you can edit photos within the system instead of having to crop them before uploading
  • The SRM now automatically creates offline user profiles of new contacts who submit a “contact us form”. This follows the privacy legislation and allows clients to manage offline engagement with stakeholders who have yet to choose to receive newsletters or provide online feedback
  • When uploading documents to the Project Document Library, they will retain their original URL, saving you time when you edit or update them, as the URL remains current
  • Text Analysis has been enhanced to analyse demographic filters, increasing the analysis and reporting options you can generate within the Engagement Hub System

Some of these tweaks are small but they are the little things that make a difference to our clients’ time and we know they value these improvements.

One major thing that our clients also value is our ongoing support in not only using the software but how to maximise their engagement as a whole. For example, deciding which tools will support their aims, how to promote their platform across their communication channels and planning how to increase registrations and stakeholder engagement.
